Architect Gianfranco Franz
Architect, working in the field of management and enhancement of urban environments with special reference to cultural heritage (cultural heritage). Expert in design and management of urban and regional analysis of models based on the use of GIS (Geographical Information Systems). As an international expert (UNESCO World Heritage Centre and World Bank) has participated in several projects (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Yemen, Republic of Djibouti, Israel / Palestine, United Arab Emirates, Chile) for the management and enhancement of cultural and urban heritage and the training of local staff (and major urban and regional analysis, GIS). Since 2008 he is on the staff of master Eco-Polis. From 2001 to 2007 he worked as a lecturer at the master MAPAUS (designing sustainable urban environments). From 2000 to 2005 he was Research Fellow at the Faculty of Architecture of Ferrara participated in various research projects, in particular "Patrimoines Partagés" European research project set within the Euromed Heritage II. Since 2007 collaborates with the TecaLAB.
